FOR PROVIDERS
Shift Happens is concierge, in-home wraparound for families raising kids with ADHD, ages 4 to 14, in Philadelphia. Parent-centric. Non-therapeutic. Designed to work with you to accelerate change for your families.
We help the families you support translate your insights into tangible changes in real life.
Built for what happens between visits.
WHAT WE DO
We help families put your work into practice.
Most clinical recommendations land on parents who don't have the bandwidth, the support, or the skills to translate strategy into routine. The plan goes home. Implementation falls apart over the screen-time conversation, the sibling fight after school, the bedtime that won't take. The next visit is a recap of stalled progress and frustration.
That's the gap we close.
For the families you refer, we provide:
The Family Shift Assessment: a comprehensive look at the home, the family system, and the realities they’re navigating day to day
A bespoke Shift Plan: articulates family goals and translates clinical recommendations into household routines, language, and skills
In-home implementation support: observation, tools and resources matched to your needs, coaching, and responsive course correction
Coordination across the care team: connected, coherent, mutually reinforcing work that accelerates change.
What you'll see in the families you refer:
Stronger adherence to behavioral recommendations
Parents who arrive better prepared, with cleaner observations from the home
Families who reach the next milestone faster, and sustain it longer
Reduced parent dysregulation, which directly benefits the child
COORDINATION
How we work with the care team.
We coordinate with the family's other providers, with their consent, at three points:
Before we begin.
We review your existing plans, notes, and recommendations so our work starts from where you've already taken the family.
During the engagement.
We share observations from the home as they're useful: what's working, what's stalling, what's shifting.
At decision points.
When something needs adjustment, like a plan that isn't translating or a stressor reshaping the family system, we bring our observations to the team so the clinical plan can iterate with full information.
Our work runs on yours. We don't replace it. We make sure it lands.
OUR SCOPE
What we don't do.
We are non-therapeutic by design. We don't diagnose, we don't treat clinical conditions, we don't provide therapy, and we don't manage medication. Those decisions stay with you and your team.
What we do is implementation, observation, parent skill-building, and coordination: the bridge between the clinical plan and the household. Additive to the care these families already receive, not duplicative of it.
GOOD FITS TO REFER
The families we work with.
We work with private-pay families of kids ages 4 to 14, with confirmed or suspected ADHD, in greater Philadelphia.
Good fits to refer:
Parents who feel reactive, overwhelmed, or on the back foot, and whose progress in clinical settings isn't translating at home
Families navigating shared parenting across two homes
Families recently diagnosed who need help putting your recommendations into practice
Families with kids whose ADHD presents alongside other complexity like sensory, executive function, sibling dynamics
Parents who've tried other approaches without finding what fits
A note on scope. We don't provide ABA, therapy, diagnosis, or psychiatric treatment ourselves, but we work alongside families who are receiving those services from your team or others. And we don't fill the role of a nanny or in-home caregiver. Caregiver Headstart, our service for families who need a caregiver or already have one, is launching soon. When it does, it'll help families find, vet, align, equip the right caregiver to support your family’s needs.
